I spent the first 14 years of my life living in Taiwan. I then moved to the US, and I am now fluent in English and Chinese. I have an undergraduate degree in biochemistry, along with a history minor, from the University of Washington. I'm looking forward to studying dentistry at New York University. I love math and science topics because I'm curious about the natural world. I began tutoring as a high school student, helping students learn calculus. I prepare in advance for each tutoring session to put together a plan to make my students confident in their abilities and to learn effectively. I'm always looking for resources to bring to my students so they can practice and refine their skills. In my free time, I enjoy movies, video games, and basketball.
