I spent the first 14 years of my life living in Taiwan. I then moved to the US, and I am now fluent in English and Chinese. I have an undergraduate degree in biochemistry, along with a history minor, from the University of Washington. I'm looking forward to studying dentistry at New York University. I love math and science topics because I'm curious about the natural world. I began tutoring as a high school student, helping students learn calculus. I prepare in advance for each tutoring session to put together a plan to make my students confident in their abilities and to learn effectively.
